Weekly Review Meeting held on 10th May 2011

Major points of the weekly review meeting are as following The weekly review meeting of VMHS was held on 10th May 2011 at the office of VMHS. Representatives from RTO, DTO, ACP Traffic West, KSINC, Civil society organizations, KITCO & NCC participated in the meeting. It was decided to operate almost 44 KSRTC buses from Muvattupuzha & Vaikom ending at Vyttila to be operated from the terminal from June 1st onwards. Similarly, JnNURM buses operating as city circular buses will be operated from the terminal. Meanwhile, KSRTC has to analyze and fix the timing of circular buses accordingly. Traffic officers will be deputed for controlling the traffic from the Mobility Hub. It was also decided to initialize the construction work of 3 boat jetties soon. In the meantime, KSWTC has to analyse the existing conditions and check all viable routes of water transportation. It was informed by the Society that the steps to set up a Modern Fuelling Station at VMH are ongoing with the petroleum companies. On the part of worksite developments, the tiling of toilet block is nearing completion. The flooring works of food court are ongoing and works of frame work is nearing completion. The work of the road on Tripunitura side has started and will be completed by next week. Works will be completed by NCC by 31st of May 2011.
