The weekly review meeting of VMHS was held on 17th May 2011 at the office of VMHS. Representatives from BPCL, KSRTC, KITCO & NCC participated in the meeting. The officers from KSRTC requested to allocate one 40 KL tank and dispensers with 4 nozzles dedicated for the use of KSRTC. BPCL agreed to provide the same. However, initially they will provide one dispenser with 2 nozzles and subsequently depending upon the volume it will be increased. KSRTC requested the Society that based on the discussion they had with Shri T.K. Jose I.A.S to allocate a land area of 20 cents of land for Office/Workshop/Store/Dormitory facility with through access for their vehicles. The land may be allocated preferably along the road side. KITCO explained that at present the master plan of Vyttila Mobility Hub does not envisage a dedicated Office/Workshop/ Store/Dormitory facility for KSRTC in the terminal. However, the matter will be taken up with the Managing Director, VMHS for finalization. KSRTC also requested for the help of Traffic Police for the smooth entry and exit of buses. The officials from KSRTC also made a site visit to study the operational aspects of the Mobility Hub. Regarding worksite developments, the plumbing and tiling of toilet block is nearing completion. The flooring works of food court are ongoing and works of frame work is nearing completion. 80% of the Dadoing work is completed. The work of the road on Tripunitura side will be completed on 24th May 2011 The Soffit & top sheeting of 7 bus bays has been completed and the Flooring of the bays ongoing.
